He retired in 2011 but remained associated research fellow at the Institute as well as consultant.
Before, he was lecturer in development planning and senior development expert in several African countries, among others in
Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Benin and South
Africa
He published numerous books and articles in learned journals on economic, social and cultural development, planning and evaluation (see 'Services &
